TELEVISION SEGMENTS
I have been employed by Armstrong Garden Centers since March of 2014. After the completion of Armstrong Garden Centers’ Horticulture 101 coursework and testing in October of 2014, I was promoted to the title of Sales Associate. Since this promotion, I have been in charge of the Morena Boulevard Houseplant Department. In addition to the time I value tending to my department, interacting with, and educating our clients, I am also proud to represent Armstrong Garden Centers as one of the Southern California Region's spokespersons. In creative cooperation with the Armstrong Garden Centers Marketing Department and Oster & Associates, I have had the privilege of working with local news stations such as Fox 5, CBS, and KUSI. In an effort to best represent Armstrong Garden Centers I continuously strive to develop new relationships with multiple media platforms. Recent developments include segments for blogger Sugar Jones of LiveTheSweetLife.com.
My contributions to the success of these segments begins with addressing talking points, selecting supporting products, and creatively approaching the setup of each set for the desired flow during filming. It is not only a pleasure working with talented supporters from each of our local San Diego networks and media platforms, but developing professional relationships with employees critical to all components of the public relations process. My ability to develop and desire to continue to strengthen professional relationships has led to the success of each segment. These opportunities have sharpened my interpersonal, creative, and public speaking skills. The following segments serve as documentation of my professionalism captured during short increments of time under pressure.
